Redakan 'morning sickness'

Walaupun namanya 'morning' tapi tak semestinya berlaku pada waktu pagi je. Ni berdasarkan artikel yang ditulis pakar-pakar, kata-kata doktor & juga pengalaman sendiri. Menurut doctor yang saya jumpa tu, dia cakap rasa mual tu berpunca dari angin or gastric juice dalam perut & also the hormonal changes. Dari pengalaman, memang betul. Bila perut rasa lapar, masa tu la rasa mual tu datang. Sebab tu dicadangkan untuk makan dengan kerap tapi dalam kuantiti yang sedikit. It works for me. Memang takde selera tapi makan je apa apa yang boleh ditelan walau hanya sebiji kurma atau epal. And memang penat sebab baru makan 5 minit, kebulur lagi. Kebulur tau, bukan lapar biasa. Kebulur macam tak makan 24 jam. Huu... And even tengah tido malam malam pun akan terjaga sebab sangat lapar & mual.

And here are a few suggestions proposed by BabyCenter.com
  • Keep simple snacks such as crackers next to your bed & eat a few to settle your stomach before getting up.
  • Eat small, frequent meals & snacks throughout the day so your stomach is never empty.
  • Try protein-rich snacks (such as yogurt or cheese). One small study suggests that foods high in protein may curb nausea more effectively than carbohydrates do.
  • Avoid fatty, spicy & acidic food & those whose smell triggers your nausea.
  • Give yourself time to relax & take naps if you can.
  • Try taking ginger (available in many forms).
Rasa mual sangat memualkan. Hee sangat tak selesa kan? Selamat mencuba & selamat menempuhi kehamilan especially to the first timers like me. Semoga ia menjadi kenangan manis buat kita. ;)

Thanks to BabyCenter.com sebab banyak bagi ilmu pengetahuan. :D
